What is Dr. Benson's Natural Mix

The goal was to create an environmentally friendly and holistic fertilizer, where the primary, secondary and trace elements will complement and integrate into natural plant chemistry. Our reference point would be a naturally developed rain forest. How and why has it continued to work and grow independently for centuries without the use of commercial fertilizers?

One of the main components needed is known as chelator. A chelator is a chemical molecule or ion that is responsible for moving or ferrying nutrients into the plant. Nature produces hundreds of these chelators through its evolutionary breakdowns. We also knew that the ingredients used in this mix would have to emulate a natural rain forests soil condition. So we discarded many of the conventionally used ingredients such as all sulfate derived components as well as chlorides and nitrates. These so called quick hitters may cause fast growth spurt and/or greening affects but in time, and with continual use soil conditions can deteriorate rather quickly.

After years of extensive research and field-testing, Dr. Allen B. Benson has developed a multi-purpose, integrated and holistic fertilizer that will fundamentally reform the nursery, farming and fertilizer industries.
